Overview: Ali and Ben were the best of friends all through school. Pretty Ali, with her long golden brown hair and svelte figure aspired to be a top chef one day; Ben was a handsome and athletic guy with dreams of working as a teacher and inspiring kids.
When Ben graduated six months before Ali and left for college, she felt scared and alone. They’d argued about his life course; his father wanted him to dismiss his own dreams of becoming a teacher and follow in his footsteps and become an attorney. Ali knew that Ben wouldn’t be happy because he had his own dreams, but his refusal to let his father down had left a rift between them.
